MDGenius AI maintains a comprehensive breach response program in compliance with the HIPAA Breach Notification Rule, the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), FTC Act, and data breach notification laws in all 50 states.

A breach is the unauthorized acquisition, access, use, or disclosure of protected health information or personal data that compromises security or privacy.

• HIPAA: Individual notifications within 60 days of discovery; HHS notification within 60 days for breaches affecting 500+ individuals
• Florida FIPA: Notification within 30 days of breach determination
• All 50 states: Compliance with the most stringent applicable state law
• Media notification required for breaches affecting 500+ residents in a single state
